1/28/2012: Version 1.0.3.2 released! New features:

Reorganized the help system content.

Fixed video background sometimes not looping when going right from showing a video clip to 'Clear to background'.

You can now select the live video device for the video player in the multi-function area (upper left corner).

Fixed mini-projector view in main window sometimes not providing correct background-preview for live video.

Added an option to reset all secondary window positions in case one got moved off-screen and is no longer accessible.

This upgrade is free to Worship Him Power Edition users. Just download the Power Edition demo and install it right over your existing Power Edition installation to upgrade.

5/29/2011: Worship Him Power Edition Status update:

We’ve been working very hard, and the first beta release is shaping up nicely. We expect it to be released in about two weeks. It will be feature complete except for the following:

Cue list auto-run

Macro record and playback

Network remote control

Suitcase pack/unpack

Help file



These features will be developed while beta one is being tested.



Now a bit of bad news: it looks like we will not be able to make our previously anticipated release date of mid 2011. It will likely be a few months later than that. This is not due to any major problems, just the enormity of the project and underestimating the time required. We are now estimating release of the final product in September. One thing’s for sure, it will be well worth the wait.

1/12/2011: Upgrade pricing assurance:

The price of the upcoming major new release scheduled for mid 2011 has not been decided yet, but we wanted to let our customers know that anyone purchasing Worship Him on Jan. 1st 2011 or later will only pay the difference in price when upgrading. Those who purchased earlier than this will still have a very reasonable upgrade cost as well. Full pricing details will be released soon.





1/9/2011: Version 4.57 released! New features:

Added 'Always use same template as primary feed' option to the second feed projector display template selection for announcements and bible verses. This will force the second feed to always use the same template (background, text colors, etc) as the primary feed so you only have to select the one. One exception: since video backgrounds are not supported in the second feed it will not automatically switch to the primary feed's template if a template with a video background is selected.

You can now enter a verse reference (like John 3:16-18) in the Bible verse window's search phrase box.

Fixed intermittent crash in the 'Edit display template' step-by-step help when copying graphics files to the Worship Him graphics folder.

Fixed Bible verse window's bible-version selection sometimes resetting the version to 'American Standard'.

Fixed announcement names beginning with a number sometimes causing cue list load and save issues and crashes.

12/26/2010: What's on the horizon for Worship Him:

For the last year or so as we’ve been making many enhancements to Worship Him, we’ve simultaneously been working on a major new release which is no less than a completely new start. This new start is allowing us to take Worship Him to new heights that were never even dreamed of when it was first conceived. We’ve already made a lot of progress and many of the core features are in place. The following features are not only planned but the technology (the “how are we going to do this?”) has already been determined and in many cases has already been implemented.

1) Projector feed types:
Main congregation feed
Alternate language congregation feed
Stage feed
Foyer feed (for looping announcements, slideshows, etc all during the service)

2) No hard limit to the number of feeds - As many feeds as your hardware can handle and that can be practical in the user interface.

3) Video backgrounds and transitions supported on all feeds.

4) Each feed can have a real monitor output (like normal) or a network remote control output, or both.

5) Text over live video.

6) Recording audio direct to mp3, as well as wav files.

7) Redesigned user interface that remains easy to use but is more integrated and makes more efficient use of space. Except for song editing all of the core features are now built-in to the main window. This includes bible verses, the announcement builder, operator notes, play-order, the sound recorder, and media control: audio, video, DVDs, and CDs.

8) Tabbed/multiple cue lists and projector views. For instance you’ll be able to create a separate cue list for your foyer/announcement feed and auto-run that cue, then switch back to your regular cue list for the service. Also you’ll be able to see what’s showing on any of your feeds by clicking on the different tabs above the mini-projector view/picture box.

9) Projector display templates will still be used but importing your own graphics will be much easier.

10) Song browser: An enhanced song viewer that lets you view your songs and sort them by any part like title, author, publisher, first line, key, etc. At the same time you can also filter the list any way you want, for instance: show only songs whose title contains a certain word or phrase, or are in a certain key, publisher, etc. It's great for worship leaders to browse while planning a worship session.

11) Import all of your songs from the previous versions of Worship Him.

12) Support for multi-byte fonts allowing us to support song lyrics in languages we haven’t been able to as yet (Chinese, Japanese, etc).

We currently estimate about six more months until it's ready. Stay tuned!
